PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 

NEW Computers:     1 year parts and labour.
 
      All new computer systems are covered by a “Return to Base” Warranty from date of sale.

On-Site Service is available by pre-arrangement.

Printers, Scanners, Monitors and Additional extras come with their respective manufacturers' warranty cover.  

 
The warranty covers defective component(s) in the computer and their replacement.

It specifically does not cover:

  1. Misconfiguration of the computer by the purchaser, erasure of software or physical damage to the computer or components.
  2. Replacements of keyboard or mouse through general wear and tear.
  3. Damage due to Virus Infection. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure any Anti Virus software installed, is updated on a daily basis to safeguard against damage to operating system or data files.
  4. Damage to the computer caused by excessive inputs mains voltage, or electrostatic charges received externally via telephone connections.
  5. Please Note: Due to the known instability of Input Power on Rarotonga, A Minimum of a Low Voltage protector must be fitted to all New Computers to comply with this Warranty, A UPS is recommended for total protection. It is also recommended a UPS be fitted to all computers serviced..
  6. Repair of peripheral devices supplied with the computer. This will be covered by the individual manufacturer’s warranty.
  7. Support for correct working operation of software and peripherals not originally supplied with the machine.
  8. Where the computer is acquired for Business or Private purposes, Rarotonga Computer Services Ltd will not be responsible for the consequential loss or damages whether such loss shall arise out of breach of contract, failure to remedy, or otherwise.
  9. Whilst every care will be taken in fixing any components in the computer, Rarotonga Computer Services Ltd takes no responsibility for the loss of data. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure data is regularly backed up externally from the computer system.
  10. Damage of components caused by corrosion or moisture.


If you experience a problem/fault:

  1. Note carefully the problem/fault you have experienced- also note the serial number on the back of your machine.
  2. Phone our technical support line. 24-979 This telephone number is manned Monday through Friday 9:30am to 4:00pm, Saturday 10:00am to 12:00 pm.
  3. Please do not phone for support regarding configuration and operations of software not purchased with the computer.
  4. If you have any queries please send us an E-mail for support. We will reply to the e-mail ASAP.
  5. Advise us the serial number, and outline the problem- being as specific as possible.
  6. We will attempt to diagnose the problem directly with you, or book the repair into our service department and advise you how to return the unit to the service centre Should you require On-Site repair or diagnosis, a $25 Service charge is applicable and work carried out will be charge at the standard rate of $70 Per Hour.


                      
          This warranty is not transferable.
